Initially Baganuur was a coal mining village with independent status. Now it belongs to and became a remote district of Ulaanbaatar locating 130km to the east with a pretty well infrastructure and electricity. But no cervical cancer screening implemented.
TFL came to the village in 2007. Because of since that no cervical cancer screening is developed locally, TFL concentrated more on providing modern knowledge and education for medical staff. 40 local health care providers participated in the training.
As an appreciation to TFL service, local mining officials guided TFL team to the mining factory and introduced to coal production.
320 women were involved in the screening in 27th and 28th July. (Click on the photo link to proceed to the web album of site No4)
